Hello, I’m Phaedra Twinn-Pitts.

Becoming a parent is one of life’s most sacred journeys—powerful, beautiful, and sometimes overwhelming. As a mother of two, I understand the joy, the challenges, and the tender moments that come with welcoming a new life. My mission is to walk alongside you with steady, compassionate support, honoring both the unique rhythm of your family and the sacredness of this time.

I am a trained Newborn Care Specialist, Birth & Postpartum Doula, and Nanny serving families throughout Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, and beyond. I hold an Associate’s degree in Child Development to deepen my knowledge and approach every family with connection, care, and respect. Just as feathers symbolize protection, guidance, and ancestral wisdom, I strive to bring calm, strength, and support into every home I enter.

I proudly serve mothers, fathers, same-sex couples, surrogates, military families, foster families, and low-income families. My experience includes working with preemies, twins and triplets, live-in care, high-profile families, breastfeeding support, cloth diapering, baby-wearing, baby-led weaning, and preparing nourishing meals for mother and baby.

Giving back is at the heart of my work. I offer complimentary services to military families stationed in Southern California, American Indian families in need, and encourage women of color to apply for free support.
